changing the date of a DD payment

How to change the date of a members payment as well as how to align a payment date with another plan.

This article is for Gocardless paying members. if you would like to change a direct debit payment for Harlands, Or DFC you will need to contact them.

To change the DD of a gocardless customer you will firstly need to cancel the current membership plan (please ensure that it is not within 4 working days of the next payment to avoid double payments).

Then you will need to reset-up the membership plan to the new DD payment dates. To do this when adding the membership plan you will change the collection day to immediate and then select the date you would like the payment to come out.
